All young people from 11 – 20 in Scotland are being encouraged to write a letter to the Scottish Parliament about how they would like to see it develop over the next 20 years.

The winning letters along with other contributions will be published in a book by Luath Press in June 2019.

This year the Scottish Parliament marks 20 years since it was re-established in 1999.

The competition is being run in conjunction with Young Scot .

Theme:  “Is the Scottish Parliament well placed to tackle the big issues facing Scotland over the next twenty years?”

Word count: no more than 500 words

Format: letters can be written or audio/video recording

Closing date: 20th of March 2019
