Those who are directly involved in protecting people at high risk of violence and who are working in partnership with others to ensure that interventions are early and effective are being asked to respond to this consultation:

Improving Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and interventions for victims of domestic abuse

It closes on 1st of April 2019.

Another consultation is seeking views on new protective orders to keep people at risk of domestic abuse safe by banning perpetrators from their homes.

It closes on 29th of March 2019.

The Scottish Parliament passed a Domestic Abuse Bill which became an Act on 9th of March 2018.

One of the important changes in it was the recognition of Coercive Control as a means of abuse.
