Have you seen a screaming swift?

Swifts have declined by 53% between 1995 and 2016. The RSPB  thinks loss of nest sites could be contributing.

If you’ve seen a nesting swift or screaming parties of swifts, the RSPB would like you to tell them to  help build a picture of where swifts are nesting and where they need help.

You can find out how to do that here: RSPB Swift survey

It will also help you to identify swifts as they are sometimes confused with swallows or house martins.

From the 22nd – 30th of June Swift Awareness Week will be taking place.
