The extra-ordinary, free-standing stone stairway at Clestrain, has been photographed many times.  At one of the most recent Open Day’s, Mike came over all arty and took some interesting shots of both flights of the Clestrain Stairway………

 And some shots of scratches and lichen on the walls – all part of the process – those scratches and shapes, won’t be there, when  the Hall has been renovated!
