If you are worried about being able to get to a polling station for the General Election on Thursday 12th of December, you can apply for a postal vote and it is easy to do.

Once you have filled it in you send it to your local electoral registration office.

England, Scotland and Wales
The deadline to apply for a postal vote for this General Election is 5pm on 26 November.
Northern Ireland
The deadline to apply for a postal vote for this General Election is 5pm on 21 November.
Postal voting is a good idea – it means that – if you’re away, you still vote, if you’re not well, you still vote, and, even if the weather is just awful, you still vote.
For all these reasons, we now always have a postal vote. Too important to miss out on.
