The Computer Mouse: #OnThisDay

computer mouseOn this day 17th of November 1970 the computer mouse was patented by Douglas Englebart.

The concept for such a device came about in the 1960’s with Douglas Englebart working with Bill English.

It was made of wood, rectangular with a small button in the top right hand corner. The cord coming out of the back reminded Englebart of a mouse. The name stuck.
