Commenting on his arrival in Aberdeen, he said:

“I am thrilled to have been appointed Head of the University of Aberdeen Business School.

“The opportunities associated with developing a business school which is part of an institution that has evolved over more than five centuries are extremely exciting and I am looking forward to the challenge.

“I feel the University’s new 2040 vision is an example about how to take things forward and that appealed to me, and this is one of the things which attracted me to the Head of School role at Aberdeen. This really is a new and wonderful challenge for the next step in my career.

“I am looking forward to meeting staff, students and stakeholders and getting  to know everybody, see what it is that excites them about being part of or engaged with the University, understand where there might be opportunities to engage, develop and grow and what their vision for the School could be.”
