Scottish Veterans Fund

The Scottish Veterans Fund is open for applications.

The funding available for this year totals £200,000 with £120,000 from the Scottish Government and £80,000 from Standard Life Aberdeen. The funding provided by Scottish Government will be maintained at its current level until at least 2022-23.

The fund looks to support projects which improve the lives of former service personnel and their families.

Graeme Dey, Veterans Minister, in the Scottish Government said:

“This year, as usual, we will be looking to support projects which provide unique and innovative approaches to aiding our veterans community.

“In addition – and in recognition of the significant impact of coronavirus – we are also looking to support projects that are rising to the challenge of safely providing support for veterans and their families despite lockdown restrictions.”

Evaluation Support Scotland will be providing a session on defining project outcomes on Monday 12 October from 0930 to 1230.

Additionally, the Scottish Government will be running a one hour session providing overview of the scheme, application form and hold a Q&A session the following day. – contact Ally Forrester at Allyson.Forrester@gov.scot
