   I have this on DVD, believe it or not. Scared the crap out of me as a child, and Albert Sharpe, the lead, was the grandfather of a guy I was at school with. The guy went on to form a band called the Adventures and had a big UK hit with ‘Broken Land’ He’s the singer. Some trivia, eh?

      Eamonn – you’ve met everyone, and if you haven’t met them, you know someone who has!

      I had a look at the YouTube clip – very ‘Wet Wet Wet’ – very 1988!

      I love ‘Darby O’Gill’ – a film that combines so many of the things I like – music, The Little People, and…………..
      Sigh.

      It was one of my mum’s favourite films, along with ‘The Quiet Man’ and …..’Jailhouse Rock’!
