Encyclopaedia Britannica #OnThisDay

On 6th of December 1768 the first edition of Encyclopaedia Britannica was published in Edinburgh.

It was produced by Colin Macfarquhar (1744/5-1793), a printer, engraver Andrew Bell (1725/6-1809) and edited by William Smellie.
