A National Day of Reflection will be held on Tuesday 23rd of March for all those who have died due to Covid.
The Marie Curie charity is asking people to hold a minute’s silence at 12 noon.
This annual day will give us all time to pause and think about this unprecedented loss we’re facing, and support each other through grief in the years to come. Marie Curie
On the evening of March 23rd St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall will be floodlit in the colours of the Orkney flag, red, blue and yellow.
At 8pm people are being asked to shine a light. This can be done outside or by putting a light in the window.
