Rather cloudy start for Orkney, then a bright and mainly dry day across the Isles. Sunny spells developing with just a few showers. Still feeling cold with fresh northerly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
The showery theme will continue for the rest of the week with some sunshine. Continuing to feel cold with strong northerly winds on Wednesday, gradually easing down.
