Weather Forecast: Extensive haar for Orkney

but bright spells for Shetland.

Today 3rd June:

Haar will affect the Isles during the day but there is a good chance Shetland will stay brighter with sunny spells until later. Fresh southeasterly winds will make it feel cool under the cloud but quite pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Low cloud and fog is likely to ruin any evening sunshine especially around eastern coasts, perhaps some brightness west Shetland, some drizzle likely too and fresh winds continuing. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Friday 4th June:

Early low cloud and fog is likely to clear, especially for Orkney. with dry and bright conditions by afternoon. Lighter winds too. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

The weekend will be a mix of haar and brighter weather in the southeasterly winds. Perhaps a few showers for Orkney on Saturday night and Sunday. Outbreaks of rain Monday.
