Early low cloud and fog will gradually thin and disperse this morning. Otherwise a dry day coming up with sunny spells developing and just a light southerly wind. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Tonight:
It will be a dry night with sunny or clear periods. Some patches of mist and low cloud will develop, especially over Shetland. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Saturday 5th June:
Mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells. Patchy haar around Shetland mostly clearing. Clouds building over Orkney later with showers breaking out. Light southerly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
High pressure will maintain mostly dry, settled conditions across the Isles with some sunshine and light winds. However haar will return later Monday and Tuesday.
