Today 8th June:

It will be a mainly dry day with some bright or sunny intervals, best sunshine possibly over northwest Shetland, although haar may linger across the south and east. Orkney may catch the odd shower later. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Any remaining haar over Shetland clearing to allow some sunny intervals this evening. Cloud thickening overnight to bring some sporadic outbreaks of rain. A moderate southerly breeze springing up. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Wednesday 9th June:

Mostly cloudy with occasional rain, though much of the time it will be dry. A few brief sunny intervals possible mainly over Orkney. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Mainly dry bright and breezy on Thursday, some rain possible later. Sunny intervals and a few showers on Friday, breezy, cooler. Dry with sunny spells and lighter winds on Saturday.
