A dry day with some bright or sunny spells to start, but high cloud thickening through the morning. Shetland will have light winds but across Orkney they will pick up from the southeast later. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A cloudy but mostly dry evening and night, although some patchy rain is possible at times. Winds will be light across Shetland, but a moderate southeasterly breeze for Orkney. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Sunday 20th June:

A cloudy day with patchy rain at times, this turning more persistent later in the afternoon and evening. Moderate southeast winds falling light. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Largely dry on Monday with a good deal of cloud and moderate northerly winds. Remaining dry on Tuesday with more sunny spells and light winds. Cloudier with rain on Wednesday.
