A cloudy start with patchy, mainly light rain. However it will become drier and brighter through the morning with sunny spells developing for the afternoon. Feeling cool in the occasionally strong northerly winds, these easing a little later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Dry with some evening sunshine around followed by clear spells overnight. Fresh northerly winds falling light by the end of the night. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Saturday 26th June:
Bright and dry with some good spells of sunshine around. Cloud increasing through the late afternoon and evening. Mainly light winds for Orkney but a freshening southwesterly for Shetland. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Quite a lot of cloud around through the coming days with a little rain at times, especially for Shetland Sunday and at first Tuesday. Best of any sunshine on Monday.
