A mostly cloudy morning with occasional, mainly light showers around. The showers are expected to become fewer and further between in the afternoon with some bright or sunny spells developing. Occasionally fresh northerly winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Some late sunny then clear spells but still a few showers around, with cloud tending to increase through the early hours. The northerly breeze becomes strong at times across Shetland. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Sunday 1st August:
A rather cloudy start with the odd light shower around but becoming drier and brighter through the morning with some sunny spells in the afternoon. Northerly breeze slowly easing. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
One or two light showers through Monday and Tuesday with clear or sunny spells and light winds. Bright start Wednesday but a freshening southerly breeze brings outbreaks of showery rain. Information from The Met Office
