The cumulative total of Covid cases in Orkney is now at 291 as 3 new positive test results were recorded in the Health Board area.
From 10th to 16th of September 30 new Covid cases were recorded in the islands.
Figures recorded over Orkney for 7 days till 16th September:

- Stromness, Sandwick, Stenness: 9
- East Mainland: 7
- North Isles, Linked South Isles, Hoy, Flotta: 4
The figures for Scotland published on 19th of September are as follows:
- 3,833* new cases of COVID-19 reported
- 45,985* new tests for COVID-19 that reported results
- 9.1% of these were positive
- 2 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends)
- 100 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19
- 1,074 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19
- 4,155,048 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,806,980 have received their second dose

People are reminded to:
