Today 24th September:
Overnight cloud and rain soon clearing to leave a bright day with a few showers, these mainly across Shetland. Windy, fresh to strong westerly winds, occasionally reaching gale force. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Tonight:
Mainly dry with variable cloud and occasional clear spells, although a few showers at first over Shetland. Patchy rain by dawn. Winds will steadily ease, becoming light at times overnight. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
SEPA FLOOD WARNING for Churchill Barriers.
A combination of high tides and strong winds means that there is a high risk of wave overtopping and hazardous driving conditions on the Churchill Barriers around high tide, Friday 24/09/21 occurring around midday (between 11.45 and 14.15 BST)

Cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle during the morning. Mainly dry in the afternoon and skies should brighten. Winds will be fresh to strong from the south or southwest. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Dry and bright for much of Sunday. Fresh to strong south or southeast winds. Rain pushing east overnight, gradually clearing on Monday. Then bright with scattered showers on Tuesday.
