Cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle during the morning. Mainly dry in the afternoon and skies should brighten, best of any sunshine over Orkney and feeling warm. Winds will be fresh to strong from the south or southwest. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Tonight:
Mainly dry with the cloud well broken at times, occasional clear spells. There is a small chance of a light shower and it will be a mild and breezy night. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Sunday 26th September:
Dry and bright with sunny spells, although patchy low cloud possible across Shetland. Warm in any sunshine, winds fresh to strong from the south or southeast. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Heavy rain gradually clearing on Monday. Then bright with scattered showers, although more persistent rain possible on Wednesday. Windy at times.
