September the Twenty-fourth…………Season of mists and many mushrooms!……..”The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the hookah out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice.  ‘Who are you?’ said the Caterpillar.” – Alice in Wonderland – Lewis Carroll.

And for all you old hippies out there……

September the Twenty-fifth…………..After the gales……Evening at the Bay…….Still waters…..Peace……

I can picture this on one of Kerrianne Flett’s ‘Moon Jars’… https://theorkneynews.scot/2017/10/26/poetry-corner-earth-wind-and-fire/

September the Twenty-sixth……..Hoy & Skyscape…..

September the Twenty-seventh…….For weeks on end the stream that flows into the Bay was hardly there – a mere trickle……Now – it’s a torrent! …..

Good to see, as water was much needed….The lochs might start to fill up a bit now…..

September the Twenty-eighth………………………I listened to this……..

….and I don’t have words to say how much it eased my mind.

September the Twenty-ninth………………Evening light on the road home……

September the Thirtieth………..The last day of September…..Very windy….A bit wet…Just the day for a sustaining soup…..Lentil & Coriander……With a garlic baguette from Gavin’s https://theorkneynews.scot/2018/07/22/the-bayleaf-stromness/
