Tonight:

Mainly cloudy this evening with occasional rain, then turning drier and clearer tonight. Moderate to fresh southerly breeze veering southwesterly and easing.. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Friday 8th October:

A dry bright morning with some sunny spells. Cloud increasing from the south reaching Orkney in the afternoon and Shetland in evening, with some haar and patchy rain. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Saturday cloudy with some rain, drier by evening. Then sunny intervals and showers on Sunday and Monday, and temperatures will be nearer normal.
