Today:
A showery day with outbreaks frequent and turning heavy at times, brought of strong to near gale westerly winds. Feeling autumnally cold in the winds coupled with the lower temperatures. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Showers continuing, but heavier outbreaks are likely to be confined across Shetland and through the early evening. Strong to near gale northwest winds easing overnight. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Monday:
Similar to Sunday feeling cold with quite frequent showers hurrying across the Isles on strong northwesterly winds. Some of the showers will be heavy, particularly over Shetland. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Rather cloudy with rain at times, most of this light and patchy. Winds occasionally strong from Wednesday.
