Today 12th October:
It will be mainly dry and bright with some sunny spells. A few light showers are possible, mainly across Shetland this morning. Winds light or moderate from the west or northwest. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Dry at first this evening with a few clear spells, but cloud thickening from the west with outbreaks of rain and drizzle overnight. Winds freshening from the southwest. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Wednesday 13th October:
Outbreaks of rain and drizzle clearing during the morning, then mainly dry although the odd light shower still possible. Strong west or southwest winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Rain clearing to showers on Thursday with strong to gale force winds turning into the north. Mainly dry and bright Friday and Saturday with winds easing.
