Tonight:
North to northwest winds gale to severe gale force hurrying frequent showers across the Northern Isles, with some turning heavy bringing the risk of hail and thunder, also potentially sleety. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
Thursday 21st October:
Feeling cold. North to northwest gales easing strong from mid-day, but continuing to bring a mix of brighter spells and frequent showers to all. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Friday brings an improvement with showers waning as northwest winds ease. Turning milder Saturday as winds back southwest, pushing rainbands across area later in day. Sunshine and showers for Sunday.
