Early rain quickly clearing Orkney, then clearing Shetland by late morning. Then much brighter with some sunny spells and just the odd shower. Mild with brisk south to southwest breeze. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A mainly dry evening and night with some clear spells. There may be the odd shower, more likely over Shetland. Fresh south to southwest breeze. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday 25th October:

A bright day with some sunshine at times. There will be a few showers especially in the afternoon when one or two will be heavy. Fresh southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Cloudier with some rain on Tuesday then back to sunshine and scattered showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
