More showers, but conditions improving a touch with showery outbreaks expected to be lighter and less frequent, while brighter spells will appear more readily. Feeling cool in the north to northwest breezes. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with showers becoming heavier and more frequent again, especially for Shetland, and feeling very cold in the strengthening northwesterly wind overnight. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Wednesday 3rd November:

Cloudy with frequent showers continuing on Wednesday, particularly for Shetland, a significant wind chill in the strong northwesterly winds, less showers by evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A cold start to Thursday but bright spells, cloudier later as rain pushes in from the west. Friday rather cloudy with showery outbreaks. Saturday looking wet and windy.
