A bright and breezy day with sunny spells and occasional squally showers, these heavy at times especially across Shetland. Feeling rather cold in the strong to gale force, mainly southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Tonight:
Showers merge to give a longer spell of occasionally heavy rain this evening before a return to clear spells and isolated showers around midnight. Severe southwesterly gales for a time. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Thursday 11th November:
A bright day with sunny spells and a few showers around, these dying out during the afternoon. Strong to gale force westerly winds easing before a strengthening southeasterly develops later. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain Friday and strong easterly winds. Mostly cloudy Saturday with patchy rain and lighter winds. Sunday, dry with sunny spells as winds turn southerly and strengthen.
