Weather Forecast: A few early showers, otherwise dry with sunny spells.

Today 11th November:

A bright start with sunny spells and a few showers around these largely dying out through the morning as the occasionally strong northwesterly breeze eases. The afternoon looks dry with some good spells of sunshine with winds becoming light. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Dry with clear spells this evening but increasing cloud brings outbreaks of rain to Orkney towards midnight. The rain then spreads to Shetland through the early hours. Strengthening southeasterly winds. Minimum temperature 3 °C.

Friday 12th November:

Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, the rain heavy at times especially across Shetland. Breezy with strong to gale force easterly or southeasterly winds, these easing later across Orkney. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Rather cloudy with patchy rain Saturday morning but drier, brighter later. Bright start Sunday but strengthening winds bring a cloudier afternoon and evening rain. Dry bright and breezy Monday.
