Some scattered light showers pushing across the Northern Isles on the strong west to southwest winds, but also drier interludes. Rather cloudy with brighter spells expected to be quite limited. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Tonight:
Scattered light showers for the evening with the strong southwest winds perhaps touching near gale. Band of showery rain for a time overnight, clearing back to blustery showers come dawn. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Wednesday 24th November:
A day of blustery, occasionally heavy, showers, brought on strong westerly winds, which veer to a gale to severe gale north to northwesterly from evening, with showers turning wintry overnight. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Strong winds and wintry showers for Thursday. Friday and Saturday very unsettled with winds reaching gale, perhaps severe gale, also periods of rain, which turn wintry to lowest levels sporadically.
