“You and me, two hearts’ beats entrained”

1.

The Universe regards itself

Here, two conscious points surf the wave

And the quantum is Love

2.

Warm blood and breath

Animal scents, senses reeling

You and me, two hearts’ beats entrained

Grounded, in stillness well founded

Rapt and enwrapped

3.

Timeless

All creation endures, creates

This guest house has many rooms

Where all passes unjudged

The wave is one with ocean

All will is being

Loved

    ‘Guest house’?…….

A poem by the Sufi mystic, Rumi:-

This being human is a guest house.
    Every morning a new arrival.

    A joy, a depression, a meanness,
    Some momentary awareness
    comes as an unexpected visitor.

    Welcome and entertain them all!

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door, laughing,
    and invite them in.

    Be grateful for whoever comes,
    because each has been sent
as a guide from the beyond.
