Today 19th February:

A lot of dry, bright weather with sunny spells and light winds. There will still be some showers, especially this morning over Shetland, dying out this afternoon. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Tonight:

Dry, clear and cold with early frost. Becoming cloudy after midnight with temperatures recovering and southerly winds strengthening. Rain and sleet will reach Orkney later, perhaps Shetland by morning. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Sunday 20th February:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain during morning. Brighter weather following in the afternoon with blustery showers, turning heavy by evening. Winds becoming southwesterly, increasing strong to gale force. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Drier, brighter weather returning on Monday with northerly gales gradually easing down. Wet and windy weather returning on Tuesday with blustery showers following. Showers turning wintry later on Wednesday.
