Cold with some bright or sunny intervals and fairly frequent showers, these a wintry mix of rain sleet and hail, even snow in the heavier showers, perhaps some thunder. Strong to gale southwesterly winds, veering westerly and easing later. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Tonight:
Clear intervals and further wintry showers, some heavy at first but turning lighter and more scattered overnight. WInds easing for a time before a strengthening northwesterly sets in overnight. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Friday 25th February:
A few light wintry showers at first otherwise a dry and bright day with some good spells of sunshine. Strong northwesterly winds easing. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Saturday mainly dry, quite bright with strong to gale southerly winds. Damp start Sunday then sunny spells and lighter winds. Sunshine, showers and gales on Monday.
