Chance of some occasional rain across Shetland this morning. Otherwise it will be mainly dry, some cloud around at times and some sunny spells too. Mainly light southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

A largely dry evening and night to come with some lengthy clear periods. Chance of a passing light shower across Shetland. A cold night with some ground frost. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Thursday 17th March:

A mainly dry and bright morning. Strong to gale southwesterly winds will bring showers in the afternoon and evening. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Early showers soon clearing on Friday. Then a dry few days with some good spells of sunshine. Windy on Friday with southerly gales across Shetland.
