A few light showers during the morning, mainly across Shetland, but many staying dry today, with occasional bright and sunny spells developing. South to southwest winds fresh to strong. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

A dry evening and night with cloud increasingly clearing from the south towards dawn, as the strong southerly winds ease a little. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Saturday 19th March:

A fine day with brighter spells through the morning, turning to prolonged sunshine for the afternoon as higher cloud dissipates. Southerly winds fresh to strong. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday dry with bright and sunny spells, but temperatures down from Saturday. Cloudier with chance some rain Monday. Settled Tuesday.
