There will be some clear spells along with further wintry showers, these turning more to sleet and snow, with a slight dusting on higher ground. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Saturday 9th April:
Another bright day with some sunny spells along with further scattered sleet or snow showers. Fresh to strong northwesterly winds across Shetland, lighter over Orkney. Cold. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Another day of sunshine and scattered wintry showers on Sunday, winds easing. Monday will be dry and sunny with light winds, then bright with isolated showers Tuesday with freshening easterlies.
