A dry day with a mixture of cloud and bright or sunny spells, these probably more so in the afternoon. Light easterly or northeasterly winds and feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Shetland will be dry with clear spells through the evening, and more in the way of cloud through the early hours. Cloudier across Orkney with a spot of rain possible. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Friday 15th April:

Mainly dry with some afternoon brightness across Orkney, but staying cloudy across Shetland for much of the day. Brisk southeasterly winds at times. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Mainly dry through the weekend with a mix of bright spells and low cloud or North Sea Haar. Cloudy on Monday with patchy rain. Occasionally fresh southeasterly winds.
