A change from recent conditions with northerly breezes now bringing occasional bright and sunny spells and only a few isolated, light showers, these largely confined to Shetland. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Mainly dry with only a few light showers, largely restricted to Shetland where the best of the late bright then overnight clear spells appear. Northeast winds easing light and variable. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Tuesday 3rd May:
A dry morning with good bright and sunny spells. Winds turning to south and freshening during the afternoon as thickening cloud and patchy rain reach from the west towards evening. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Turning a touch milder. Mainly cloudy with showers that merge to longer periods of rain sporadically. Winds southwesterly occasionally freshening.
