A cloudy and dull start with patchy mist and drizzle. Becoming drier and brighter in the afternoon with a few sunny breaks possible later. Winds turning westerly and mainly moderate. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

A fine end to the day, cloud then thickening overnight with patchy rain possible by dawn. Light or moderate west or southwest winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Thursday 5th May:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Misty at times with moderate or fresh southwest winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Morning rain then mainly dry and bright on Friday. Mainly dry and bright over the weekend, although some patchy rain and mist possible over Shetland on Sunday.
