Showers frequent at first, some heavy with the chance of thunder, becoming more scattered in the afternoon and mostly dying out by evening. Some good sunny spells developing. Fresh northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

A dry evening with sunny then clear spells. A few showers then returning overnight but these will be brief and light. Fresh to strong northwestely winds. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

Saturday 28th May:

Morning showers will be scattered and interspersed with sunny spells. Showers become few and light during the afternoon when sunny spells increase. Cool northerly winds stay fresh to strong. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Fresh to strong northerly winds Sunday ease and turn easterly from Monday. frequent and possibly heavy showers Sunday ease from Monday with showers clearing Orkney Tuesday.
