Cloudy with some drizzle in the morning, with some mist and fog around at first. Becoming dry in the afternoon, with some sunny spells developing across Shetland but Orkney perhaps holding onto the cloud with light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.


Mainly dry with a few clear spells for Shetland but Orkney seeing further cloud and mistiness, perhaps some drizzle too. Winds strengthening by early morning. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Wednesday 22nd June:

A cloudy day and although mainly dry in the morning, cloud thickening with the chance of some late afternoon rain, quite breezy too. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A fairly cloudy outlook for the end of the week with some patchy rain early on Thursday, a few showers on Friday and Saturday, possibility of a few heavier ones.
