A damp misty morning for Shetland then becoming dry by afternoon with the sun breaking through later, Orkney dry with some bright or sunny spells developing. Gentle southerly breeze. Warm. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Tonight:

Dry this evening with some sunny intervals. A few showers developing overnight, perhaps heavy later in the night with increasing risk of low cloud and haar. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Friday 24th June:

A rather dull and misty day with haar and a few showers. However a few sunnier spells should break through in more sheltered western areas, Light to moderate southeast breeze. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Saturday will be mainly dry with low cloud and haar breaking to sunny spells. Becoming windy. Sunday and Monday mainly dry with some sunshine, just the odd shower. Breezy.
