Shetland having a dry day, low cloud dispersing through afternoon then some sunshine. Low cloud across parts of Orkney at first, otherwise dry and sunny. Windy with fresh to strong southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

Dry with some sunshine this evening. The rest of the night will be dry and clear. Windy with strong southeasterly winds, close to gale force across Orkney this evening. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Monday 27th June:

Mostly dry with some good spells of sunshine, although an odd shower may drift across Orkney from the mainland. Winds easing in the morning. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Often dry with some variable amounts of cloud and some bright spells. A little rain possible at times.
