Orkney cloudy, with occasional rain in the morning then becoming mainly dry. Shetland will start damp, perhaps with some haar, before brightening up by late-morning with some sunny intervals. Light to moderate breeze. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Bright at times through the evening, though a lot of high cloud. A few spots of rain early in the night but turning mainly dry from midnight, although staying cloudy. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Monday 18th July:

Mainly dry and bright with warm sunny periods and some high cloud. Chance of some haar later in the evening, most likely across Orkney. Winds mainly light. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Morning haar clearing to a warm day on Tuesday, though some showers possible at times. Cooler and cloudier on Wednesday and Thursday, with rain or showers at times.
