Tonight:
Mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain, dying out for a time. Heavy rain edging up from the south reaching Orkney later tonight. Fresh or strong southeast winds. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Sunday 24th July:
Dull, wet morning with rain heavy at times. Drier, brighter,warmer weather reaching Orkney later in the morning, extending to Shetland in the afternoon. Staying quite windy. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Cloudy, showery start to Monday then drier and brighter. A windy day with northwesterly gales, easing later. Tuesday and Wednesday staying mainly dry with bright spells and lighter westerly winds.
