It will be a dull, wet morning with rain heavy at times. The rain turning lighter and more showery across Orkney during the morning, then Shetland through the afternoon. Winds strong at times. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Tonight:

Mostly cloudy but Shetland often dry with just some patchy light rain or showers. However, the rain is expected to turn heavy and persistent at times in Orkney. Windy. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Monday 25th July:

Shetland cloudy and windy with outbreaks of rain. Breezy with bright spells and a scattering of showers over Orkney. Rather cool. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Plenty of dry and bright weather with some sunny spells and feeling warm in any sunshine, However, the odd light shower is possible. Winds mainly light.
