Shetland will be rather cloudy with bright spells and a scattering of showers. Early rain, possible heavy, soon clearing Orkney then bright with occasional showers. Rather cool in fresh to strong northwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Tonight:
Mainly dry with bright spells, although there will be a scattering of showers. Generally rather cloudy with a few breaks possible overnight. The northwesterly winds slowly easing. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Tuesday 26th July:
Plenty of dry and bright weather with the odd sunny break, but generally rather cloudy and the odd light shower is possible. The northwesterly winds continuing to ease. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Mainly dry and bright on Wednesday and Thursday and feeling warm in any sunshine. Winds mainly light. Rain and freshening winds later on Friday.
