From Friday 2nd September there will be a series of livestreams and short films posted across social media and on The Orkney News YouTube Channel.

Orkney News is not for profit online community based media and we will again be participating in the Doors Open event.

Orkney News will feature stories and interviews about Orkney including excerpts from our MGS funded Year of Stories ‘Orcadian Stories’. Filming is still ongoing but we can share some clips of interviews that have taken place so far. The fascinating personal journeys of people who have contributed to our community in Orkney. The many volunteers who keep organisations and events going in the islands.

The films/livestreams will take place at various outdoor locations in Orkney.
