Dry, bright for much of Thursday morning. Cloud will thicken from early afternoon, followed by rain later. Fresh southerly winds strengthen to southeasterly gales from late on Thursday afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Cloudy skies with rain give way to clear spells and showers, some heavy, from later in the evening. Southeasterly gales gradually turn west to southwesterly overnight. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Friday 14th October:
Bright spells will be interspersed with blustery showers throughout Friday. Gale force westerly winds will begin to ease from the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Showers and strong westerly winds on Saturday continue as the wind turns northwesterly on Sunday. Dry at first Monday, strong winds turn gale force southeasterly as rain spreads north later.
